In the novel the ending is kind of bland and it talks about one of the major conflicts from the beginning of the book. In the last few chapters the book goes on a whirlwind effect and everything comes out. One night Conor comes knocking on Jace’s hotel room. Jace opens the door and see’s Conor standing there with blood all over his face and he was out of breath from staggering to the room. Jace refuses to let him in the room because he is wasted out of his mind and very delusional. But Conor forced his way into the room and through up all over the bathroom. Jace being the guy he is cleaned Conor up and let him stay in his room for the night. But during this night Jace’s look at Conor would change dramatically.
Jace wakes up to Conor kissing his lips!!!!!?????!!!! Jace jumps out of bed in awwww! Conor tells Jace that he is gay and he is the only person who knows about this. Conor thought Jace was gay and that is why he kissed him that night. Confused Jace tells Conor he isn’t gay and he has feelings for Kate. But by the end of his vacation Jace still doesn’t get laid and it really doesn’t tell you about what happens after they get home from their trip to Mexico.
Also in the middle of the novel Jace talks about how it was his fault that his brother killed himself and Jace didn’t want to tell his mother this. But at the end of the novel it flashes back to a conversation that Jace’s mother and Stefan had the day before he killed himself in the garage. Stefan came out of the closet that he was gay and Jace’s mother didn’t want to except it and told Stefan that he needed to get help and is just confused about his feelings towards guys.
But the next night Stefan ended his life and all of this time Jace thought it was his fault but now he realizes why his mother is not herself anymore.
Overall the novel was really interesting but I was expecting a better ending(Jace getting laid!). This book is sort of related to teenagers but this book is not a story about an average teen. He has experienced more drama in his life then I hope to. But you never know what lies ahead in your life.

Third Section
The major conflicit in this novel is that Jace wants to get laid. He has high hopes to succeed in this goal, because he is now 18 and wants to swipe his V-card with some hot babe from the resort.
He goes through alot of little conflicts along his journey to becoming a man. He has to complete this goal with his family staying with him. But Jace sees a light at the end of the tunel when he meets a smokin' hot babe on the beach named Kate. Jace falls head over heals for her. He makes it his mission to open up those flood gates and bring his boat into Kate's port (wink wink).
But along this path of the sex hunt Jace finds out that Conor isn't as much as a jerk that Jace thought he once was and becomes some what friends with Conor. But by doing this Kate thought that Jace was one of those jerk jocks. This creates an obstacle in the way of him getting in Kate's pants.
What would you do in Jace's situation?

First Section
His name is Jace and he is eighteen and still a virgin. But he plans to make that all change when his aunt invites him, his mother and his autistic brother to Mexico. Jace sets out his goal and while he is in Mexico he plans to but it into action. "I am going to Mexico to get laid". He repeats that over and over in his head.
In the first section of the book it puts you in the shoes of Jace and you observe his surroundings. When he enters the airport his adventure begins. He encounters a disruptive bunch of hockey players that are also boarding the same flight as he is, but in all of this madness he spots a beautiful blond haired beauty. She was sitting with another guy, but Jace was trying to judge if she was sitting with a boyfriend or her father. He was hoping that he was her father because he was using his notebook that was in his hands to cover up the tent he was pitching in his pants. He was just lost in how good she looked and lucky for him she was also on the same flight as he was and he thought to himself, "well we have 10 days to try and get to know eachother....im hoping."
As the plane touched down in Mexico Jace new things were not goin to be the same for him after this trip. He is hoping that he enters Mexcio as a boy and leaves as a man. They arrive at there hotel in awe. They cant wrap their minds around how big and "rich looking" the hotel was. The rooms were like small houses. they had king size beds, 60 inch flat screen televisions, bars, and a great view from the belcony over looking the ocean. It was paradise.
